Book Review
A Lesson about manhood before dying. The book A lesson Before Dying is about a boy named Jefferson who has been sentenced to death for a crime he didnt commit. Before his excution, his godmother asks the teacher of the plantation, Grant Wiggins to teach him how to be a man and for Jefferson not to think of himself as an animal. Grant is not up for the task at first but does it in favor of his aunt. Through out the book you not only see the change in Jefferson but the change in Grant too. This book deals with racism and shows the emotional process of putting someone to death. I give this book a rate of three stars.
